ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE Pet of the Week
All the cats and dogs that are available for adoption from the AWL have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked and are ready to go.
Adoption costs start from $25.
The pets may be at one of three AWL locations - Wingfield, Port Adelaide or Edinburgh North
Adoption opening times: 7 days a week, 10am - 3pm

CAT of the week is 2 year old CINNAMON - Sugar, spice and everything nice, that's what cats are made of...well at least, that's what I'm made of.
DOG of the week is ZAYLA, a 1 yr old young lady. I'm sweet, energetic who's looking for a running partner and a loving best friend.I've got the brains and the looks too; who says you can't have both? Plus at 1 year, I've got a full life ahead of me.

SMART meeting in Mount Barker
A weekly SMART recovery meeting will be held every Friday at 10am at
57 Wellington Road, Mount Barker.
What is SMART?
SMART (Self Management and Recovery Training) is a free group program assisting any problematic behaviours. Specialising in alcohol and other Drug use, these free meetings use the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy to help attendees with motivation and coping with cravings or urges in order for them to achieve their own goals regarding their own situation.
This meeting is for anyone in the community to just rock up either weekly or sometimes.
